Chris was born and raised in Southern California, growing up in West Covina, a suburb of Los Angeles. After high School, he begain to explore his many interests in expression studying at A.C.T as an actor and writer. From there, he attended Rio Hondo College in Whittier where he wrote and starred in many stage plays garnering several Irene Ryan Award nominations and performing as a finalist in the Kennedy Center's American College Theater Festival. It was at Rio Hondo where he began to hone is writing. This gave him the opportunity to have several of his plays produced and performed in Los Angeles including, The Gardner Stage, The Ivar Theater, and The Los Angeles Theater Center.

 

In 1998, after the birth of his son, he wanted to chase his first love of art... Drawing. He enrolled and attended Mt. Sierra College in Monrovia, and began his career in Graphic Arts and Multimedia.

 

After completing his studies at Mt. Sierra, he enrolled in the Los Angeles Film School. It was there that he found ways to incorporate everything he's studied. From drawing to storyboarding, from graphic design to production design, from animation to directing and cinematography. He graduated in 2012 with a degree in film and soon began work in the film industry, encompassing all that he's learned and studying over the years. He's worked on several projects as a witer, director, cinematographer, editor, 1st assistant director, graphic designer, SFX sound designer, art decoration, storyboard artist, and actor.

Currently Chris works as an Editor for Lowrider Magazine's Mini-Doc series Lowrider Roll Models and is currently working on developing a Television series as well.
